Team Effort!

When you have a club supporting REACH like Colorado Rush does it takes a team to get the job done. Before our new team is introduced - a shout out to Kim Moyer - long time REACH Coordinator who recently became the Events Coordinator for the club- thank you and good luck Kim!

We didn't have to look far to find our new parent REACH Coordinator. Rebecca Smith (left) has been volunteering for the program this past year and her commitment and excitement for the program is contagious! Originally from KY and having lived all over the US, Rebecca claims "to have never met a stranger" so when you see her on the fields cheering on her U13 Cinza daughter Ani, make sure to say hello!

Joining Rebecca is Colorado Rush Youth Girls Club Trainer Antonia Land (right) as the REACH Program Manager. Antonia played for Rush since she was 10 years old, graduated from Wheatridge HS and went on to play at University of Louisiana at Monroe. Antonia loves the concept of the REACH Program and is excited to help our players share the love of the game they have been lucky enough to experience with our community and international partner clubs.

Katy Oehring (center) is pitching in to support our Community Liaison efforts for the REACH Program, the perfect role for this Littleton native. Katy is also our DOC for the rec program and the Titan House Resident manager. Like Antonia, she values the REACH Programs ability to give back to the game that we love and teach our players the importance of getting involved.

REACH, Rush Equipment Assisting Children, started in Colorado and has spread to nearly all of our 41 domestic clubs allowing us to support our 40 International partner clubs. Global Outreach Director, Kris Downs is excited to see the growth in the program nationally and internationally, but especially as a Colorado Rush parent herself, she is proud of the commitment the club puts on this wonderful program.
